We have the eduroam network here at UNIS so those of you who have that set up will have automatic access here.

For those of you who do not use eduroam we will arrange for an account to be set up while you are at the meeting so you can have internet access. We also have some desktop machines which your account will work on.

If you require an account to be set up for you please send an e-mail to me ( with the subject line: SuperDARN internet access
In the e-mail I just need your full name.

The registration for the meeting is being taken care of by Spitsbergen Travel Company, a link to which is found on the 2014 SuperDARN website.

Here you can register for the meeting, in addition to booking return flights from Oslo to Svalbard and accommodation on Svalbard. Whilst we STRONGLY encourage you to use the website to book your flights and accommodation it is also possible to register for the meeting only.

In addition to the meals and social events included in the registration fee there is also an additional meal option available on the 27th May.

We have made this optional to accommodate people who may wish to have an unstructured evening in the town whilst they are here. However, we will also remind people that there are only a limited number of restaurants here in town.

We have also included an option for an accompanying person, the fee for which includes all social events and airport transfers.
